Large Vintage Gilt Carved Wood ElephantHand Painted. Superbly detailed large hand carved wood elephant. Hand painted in a gesso like finish with gold gilt. Made up of eight pieces as shown in photo 12. Condition is very good. There are some marks, small chips here and there… Nothing that detracts or takes away its carm as the photos show. There are some age related shrinkage cracks as the wood has dried out over the years.. 24″ long by 16.75″ tall with a depth of 9. Displays very well in any setting.
