Pair of Late19th Century Antique French Empire style Vases Angel Handles Handpainted 13.75 tall. A superb pair of very decorative vases with black banding and gilt highlights each handpainted with wildlife, flora and fauna with maiden all complimented by a pair of gilded /blanc porcelaine handles in the form of winged angels. The vases are good original condition. Though one has a hairline near the rim and on the other an angels face is chipped as shown in photos 11 & 12. There is some rubbing, marking to the gold gild.. All commensurate with age and use. The pair displays superbly in any setting. A great addition to any collection. The pair weigh over 3.100 kilos unwrapped. Each measures around 13.75″ tall with a 4.25″ diameter base and top rim diameter of 4.25″ and are about 8.25″across at widest point. Any questions please message.
