MARKLIN TUNNEL circa 1910’s. This tin tunnel is approximately 21cm tall and 32 cm long. It is over 100 years old and came with 1 gauge/spur wagons and track that i have. Made in Germany (and Marklin logo) on the underside of tunnel on edge. I don’t know enough about Marklin tunnels to say whether this is only for gauge/spur 1, but the 1 gauge track i have fits through it. This is a family item that has been untouched for at least the last 70 years. You can see by photos that there are some cosmetic issues. Paint peeling or chipping on some places. Especially on teeth around entrance. Overall, this beautiful antik is in excellent condition for its age. Wonderful that it still has miniature bench, house, fence, etc, attached to the outside.
