Chinese Shunzhi Chilong and Peony Vase 16cm tall. Shunzhi was only 6 when he was proclaimed Emperor and China was ruled the Prince Dorgon. Shunzhi died of Smallpox at the early age of 24. Shunzhi was father to Kangxi, his third son, whose original name was Xuanye. A wonderful piece, three Chilong with Wang marked on their heads. Quite a bulbous shape.
