Pair ofAntique Bohemian Harrach Opaline Glass Gilt Enameled Bud Posy Vases. Pair of Victorian Harrach Art Nouveau opaline glass vases, gilt-enamel. Outstanding example of the artistic enameled glass that was produced in the Bohemian glass houses during the late 18th to 19th centuries. The Harrach Glass House, nestled in the remote mountains of Northern Bohemia, was started in 1712 by Count Harrach. Their production was so prolific that they also provided blanks for other glass houses and employed a large number of designers and decorators. Many pieces attributed to other makers have eventually proven to be Harrach productions, and identification still remains a challenge. The pair display very well in any setting. Overall in good condition. Though one does have a crack as shown in photos 7,8 &9. Both have minor usage wear and tear.. Mainly rubbing to the base and gold gilt with light surface wear, scratches all commensurate with age and use. There imperfections in the glass as these were hand made mouth blown and not an exact science. Around 4.75 tall.
