A hand painted tall white “Spaghetti” Poodle made in Italy, decorated with flowers and leaves. Known as “Spaghetti” poodles because of the white applied decoration. This is one of the tallest models I have seen and has a lovely expression! Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Marked on the base “ITALY” as shown in the photographs. Age / date of manufacture. Measures 16 (40.75 cm) tall and is approximately 41/2 (11.5 cm) across the base (measured front to back). Overall good condition for a fragile item. Has a couple of small chips from the edge of the hat brim on one side and a small flake from the white glaze on the top edge of the hat. The “spaghetti” decoration is in really good condition with just 1 tip missing on a piece on the dog’s nose (left hand side as you look at the dog). Has 1 small flake of glaze missing from the painted section on 1 leg. Has 1 small patch of burst bubbles in the white glaze on the back.
