












Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Pink & Yellow Wild Roses Vase Circa 1911 – 21 Very pretty porcelain vase in an Art Deco form. Nicely decorated with wild pink and yellow roses with gold gilt highlights. With raised gold gilt panels with blue and pink enamel diamonds and blue and pink enamel flowers in the space between the handles. The handles are olive green with gold gilding and the feet are olive green with gold gilt floral designs. With gold beading around the opening. Marked on the bottom Hand Painted Nippon with an M inside a wreath. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide x 8 3/4 inches tall.
