ARDALT / EMPOLI Italian ART GLASS RED & GOLD TALL APOTHECARY JAR 16 1/2 Italy. This is a stunningArdalt-Empoli style Italian made tall red and gold decorated lidded Apothecary jar that stands 16 1/2 tall to top of the lid. This has the original label from the Artdalt glass-made in Italy. This piece is a dark red and heavily decorated with a gold scene on front and back. Both are different scenes. There are 2 bands of gold with raised gold dots that go around the jar. There is also a white enameled decorative style on the upper area and lower area of the jar. The lid is also done in gold and the white enamel. The base and stem are all gold. The base has a mark seen on the top side which is actually an air bubble that came thru on the top as it is much more visible on the underside. This piece has no damage and is absolutely gorgeous.
