Vintage/Antique Matching Pair HenRiot Quimper Vases Décor Riche Beautifully Detailed Painting. This matching pair of vases are lavishly painted with Décor Riche, Ajonc (Gorse) and Bruyere (Heather) flowers, detailed figures, and the Coats of Arms of Bretagne and Quimper on the reverse. They are marked “HenRiot Quimper” with the number “736” on the bottom of each vase, indicating they are probably from the 1920s. My guess is they were made in 1925 but could be as early as 1922. The number indicates the form used to make the piece. They have an ivory glaze and are absolutely stunning. There is one small nick/glaze skip on the rim of the reverse of the vase with the coat of arms of Quimper. See the photo showing the reverse of the vases. There are no other chips or cracks. Each vase is approximately 12.75 in (32.4 cm) tall by 18 in (45.7 cm) around at the widest point. They are a good size for cut flowers and foliage. Thank you for looking!
