Up for sale is an Antique Huge Majolica Vase Monkeys & Peaches Green Glaze 15.5 Tall!!! This vase is just stunning, and in beautiful shape as well! It features two applied monkeys sitting atop a peach tree feasting on the bountiful harvest, with a green matte base coloration somewhat reminiscent of a celadon glaze. The glaze has a sort of crackled effect to it and everything has some very nice fine detail, I really enjoy the glaze on the monkeys. It is in excellent condition, having no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs to it at all. There is some scuffing along the rim at the bottom which may be seen in the photographs. I do not know much provenance beyond this. The piece measures in at approximately 15.5″ tall and about 8″ in diameter at the widest point. The piece weighs in at 8 pounds, 4.2 ounces total.
