1800’s Antique LIMOGES Pair FINE Hand Painted Porcelain Tall Vases 21. For your consideration is an exquisite pair of fine porcelain vases. Very delicate work throughout – all hand painted and enameled! Raised classical baluster form. Two medallion on each – tropical bird scenes in a Neo-Classical taste on one side, floral arrangements on the other. Gilded borders encircling the medallions. Background is staged by meticulously hand painted repeating Polka Dot pattern – white dots on light blue ground. A pair of floral medallions on each base as well. Gilt trim on edges.
