Up for your consideration is a beautiful very large antique porcelain tankard by William Guerin – Limoges. It is multicolored with hand painted grapes and grape vines. It has beautiful purples and greens. It is embossed with a design around the bottom and on the handle. The base is wider than the top. It stands approximately 14 5/8″ tall and has a diameter at the base of about 6 1/2″. The opening measures about 4 3/4 from the spout. Marked with the green stamp Limoges France W. No chips, cracks, or crazing. This tankard would make a beautiful vase for tall flowers for a wedding, church, or special occasion. This piece was part of a very large Limoges personal collection!
