Lamp is pretty much amazing. The gold touches on it mainly have worn off. You can see hints of it here and there. There’s some minor issue like wear and tear. There’s a piece chipped off the base. Looks like the base is glass but it is high gloss black painted over what looks like terracotta. ? I’d take it off and put on a hurricane and globe but that is the buyers decision. This was never an oil lamp. It was made to look like this. It’s quite an amazing piece. In vintage used condition. Please see pics to see how there is wear on the metal parts.
